  • Stage [March 2012 – July 2012] Louche Theatre & Royal Shakespeare Company Open Stages Production of “12th Night”
    • Composer, Musical Director, Conductor and Performer for Aberystwyth’s performance company, Louche Theatre, with the Royal Shakespeare Company Open Stages.  Set in the 12th Century in Wales, the music I  wrote was a blend of Welsh Celtic style with a tribal style consisting of two primary themes (one for Olivia, and one for Orsino), as well as original music written for the character Feste using the lyrics given whilst using lyrics written in welsh as a counterpoint.  Further duties included holding many rehearsals up to the performance to teach original music, attending meetings, performing (myself on erhu) and conducting.

Professional Experience Conducting

  • [26th February 2014 – 1st March 2014] Showtime Singers – Fiddler on the Roof

    • Conducted Fiddler on the Roof, the first musical I ever conducted.  Some difficult moments, but I was commended by many for being able to fix issues on the fly during the performances.
